Three area residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Morgan County on Saturday, April 2.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Versailles man traveled off the right side of Glensted Road north of Harrison Road. The vehicle then struck a tree.

The driver had minor injuries in the crash. His two passengers, a 20-year-old man from Stover and a 21-year-old man from Sedalia, were dealt moderate injuries. All three were transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. Troopers report that none of the occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.

The accident was reported at 1:53 a.m. in Morgan County.
