Carrollton R-7 Superintendent Dr. Tinna Croy spoke to KMMO News about the numerous projects the district has planned following the extension of its tax levy during last month’s Municipal Election.
The district asked voters for authorization to continue its tax levy of $1.3407 per $100 assessed value through 2046 for various district projects and improvements. The measure, Proposition C.A.R.E., passed with 72 percent of support from voters. Croy thanked voters for supporting the measure and the district.
Croy says one of the main projects the district plans to tackle are additions to the Middle School.
Other projects included on the ballot language are renovations to the middle and high school, parking lot improvements, a new HVAC system, and traffic flow improvements. Croy says the district will share renderings and site plans for these projects in the future.
