
A Jefferson City man was ejected from his motorcycle on westbound U.S. Highway 50 in Johnson County on Tuesday, May 12.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a motorcycle operated by a 71-year-old Jefferson City man traveled off the left side of Highway 50, just east of Northwest 375 Road at 11:43 a.m. The motorcycle eventually overturned and ejected the driver.
The driver was taken to Research Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Troopers report the driver was wearing the proper safety equipment at the time of the accident.
