A Boonville man has been charged by a federal grand jury with receipt and possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

During their investigation, the Missouri State Highway Patrol says an illicit file was shared from an IP address belonging to 35-year-old Lance Aaron Larkin. Following a search warrant and a review of his electronic devices, law enforcement determined Larkin possessed thousands of child pornography images and videos. Under federal statutes, Larkin is subject to a sentence of up to 20 years in federal prison without parole if he is convicted.

The charges were announced Wednesday, May 13 by the U.S. District Attorney for Western Missouri.  This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashley Turner.
