Four students from Northwest R-V High School will take part in next month’s FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio.
The students received approval from the district’s board of education at their meeting Monday night. Supt. Dr Amy Fagg tells KMMO News the four students qualified for their events at the state conference last April in Springfield, and commended business teacher Katie Robison for her guidance as the district’s FBLA sponsor. Also Monday night, the board considered a number of maintenance bids, including repair work after leaks were found in the roof at the high school in Hughesville and a couple windows at the elementary school in Houstonia.
The board also authorized the release of details for firms to submit bids for the district’s fuel and food service. Fagg says she anticipates the board to consider the bids at their next meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 at 8 p.m.
