The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a jump of 1,900-plus positive cases of COVID-19 in the state at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, from Tuesday, July 28.
According to DHSS, the total number increased by 1,927 from 44,823 to 46,750.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased from 1,213 on Tuesday to 1,220 on Wednesday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 30.
