Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital is scheduled to receive 20,000 cloth masks from the U.S. Exercise Tiger Foundation (USTF) as part of the organization’s “Mask A Vet” campaign.

A news release says the delivery is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 21.

The USTF’s delivery also marks a milestone of 50,000 masks distributed by the organization for Veteran use. Truman VA will be the second VA hospital to receive a USTF mask donation.

The purpose of the campaign, which began last month, is to provide masks for every Veteran and his/her family to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The presentation is scheduled to take place at the circle drive of Truman VA’s main entrance at 800 Hospital Drive in Columbia.
