A 33-year-old Lexington man who posted surety bond on March 2 has had his bond revoked by the court.

According to a probable-cause statement, Thomas Kopp was arrested after Lafayette County authorities executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on September 14, 2020. Authorities say they seized drugs, drug paraphernalia, firearms and ammunition.

On January 19, Kopp waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Kopp posted $15,000 surety bond. However, the court revoked his bond on June 7 and imposed new bond of $15,000 cash only.

A Plea/Trial Setting hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, July 19, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
