
The Lafayette County Health Department has issued an alert about a possible community exposure to COVID-19.
Health department officials say, “We have received a report of a positive case of COVID-19 at the Lexington Moose Lodge Friday evening, July 23rd, during BINGO and breakfast on Saturday the 24th. If you were at the Lodge for Bingo Friday night or breakfast Saturday morning, please monitor for symptoms.”
Health officials say if you begin to experience any of several symptoms, you are urged to call your healthcare provider and seek testing. Symptoms include: fever, chills, muscle aches, runny nose, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, headache, fatigue, new or worsening cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chest pain, nausea/vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhea.
