During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, August 3, Ward 2 Councilman Leon Thompson announced Shelby Dawson has accepted the city’s Tourism Coordinator, City P.R. position.

Thompson explained more of what Dawson will be tasked to do.

Thompson said it’s taken about a year to get this position created and filled. “We’re very happy to have her aboard,” he said.
