The active case count of COVID-19 increased by double digits on Wednesday, September 8, in Saline County.

According to the Saline County Health Department’s dashboard, the active case count shot up to 145 from 126 on Tuesday, September 7.

In all, there have been 3,669 total confirmed positive cases and 476 probable cases, as well as 73 COVID-19-related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

There have been 132 positive cases in the last week and 208 in the last two weeks.

By age group, the positive number of cases are: 668 in the Under 20 group; 608 in 20 to 29; 562 in 30 to 39; 489 in 40 to 49; 484 in 50 to 59; 415 in 60 to 69; 264 in 70 to 79; and 179 in 80-plus.
