
The number of active cases of COVID-19 jumped up again in Saline County.
According to the Saline County Health Department, the count was 211 on Thursday, September 16- up 21 from 190 the day before.
The overall positive case count increased by 30 to 3,881 since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 3,259 confirmed positive cases and 622 probable cases.
The county reports 30 positive cases in the last day; 185 in the last seven days; and 315 in the last two weeks.
By age group, the positive number of cases are: 743 in the Under 20 group; 642 in 20 to 29; 606 in 30 to 39; 511 in 40 to 49; 495 in 50 to 59; 427 in 60 to 69; 276 in 70 to 79; and 181 in 80-plus.
Health department officials say free COVID-19 testing is available from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Katy Trail Community Health at 1825 South Atchison Avenue in Marshall.
