The Smith-Cotton High School JROTC program is scheduled to host its annual Veterans’ Day breakfast and ceremony starting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, November 11.

School district officials say Veterans are invited to RSVP to the JROTC office at (660) 851-5317 for themselves and a guest. The breakfast is free of charge.

The annual Veterans’ Day ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the school in Sedalia. U.S. Representative Vicky Hartzler will keynote the ceremony, and other elected officials will likely be in attendance.

Additionally, JROTC is joining with Sedalia-area veterans groups to host the Veterans’ Day Parade that starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 13, in downtown Sedalia.
