A 52-year-old Marshall man facing a drug-related felony charge has a court proceeding scheduled.

According to a probable-cause statement, on November 7, 2020, a Marshall Police officer says he located multiple drug-related items in a vehicle being driven by James Edward Brown.

According to court documents, Brown is charged with a felony for delivery of a controlled substance; and drug- and driving-related misdemeanors. Brown posted $15,000 surety bond on November 10.

Brown was arraigned on June 28. A plea/trial-setting hearing is set for 1 p.m. Monday, November 15, at Saline County Circuit Court.
