Fern Cupp, 88, of Sweet Springs, MO, formerly of Marshall, died Friday, December 10, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall, with Pastor William Voelker officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born April 20, 1933, in Saline County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Alva I. Skouby and Eunice Burgess Skouby. She lived in Saline County most of her life and was a graduate of Marshall High School. She married Vester L. Cupp who preceded her in death. She retired from Fletcher Grain Company after 25 years of service and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one son, Mike Cupp of Sweet Springs; one granddaughter, Jennifer Smith (David) of Otterville, MO; two great-grandsons, David Smith Jr. and Joshua Smith; sister-in-law, Anna Margaret Skouby; niece-in-law, Coleen Skouby; one great-niece, Christy Skouby (Angie Sutherland); one great-nephew, Matt Skouby (Jenna); and great-great-nieces and nephews: Shea Skouby, Talon Skouby, William Skouby, Jack Skouby and Dakota Skouby.

In addition to her parents and husband, Fern was preceded in death by one daughter, Belinda Cupp; one brother, Duane Skouby; and a nephew, Ken Skouby.
