A Sedalia man is charged with a couple of felonies after a reported incident on February 12 in Cooper County.

According to a Cooper County Sheriff’s report, deputies responded to a call for service regarding an assault on Billingsville Road. According to a woman, Ryan James Camero Tuttle was driving her car and holding her against her will. She said he threatened to kill her if she tried to alert authorities. The woman said Tuttle hit her with a closed fist two times, causing her to bleed from her right eye and nose. Prior to the arrival of authorities, Tuttle fled on foot. Although medics believed she had suffered a broken nose, the woman refused medical treatment.

According to court documents, a warrant has been issued for Tuttle, who is charged with felonies for kidnapping- inflicting injury and terrorizing in the first degree; and second-degree domestic assault. Bond is fixed at $75,000 cash or surety.

Tuttle’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
