Lois J. Castle, 100, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, March 10, at Golden Oaks Assisted Living in rural Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Friends may call Monday morning at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Golden Oaks Assisted Living or charity of donor’s choice. Born, March 23, 1921, in Saline County, MO, Lois was the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Copeland and Nell VanWinkle Copeland. On December 25, 1941, in Liberty, MO, she married Cecil H. Castle who preceded her in death on March 8, 1984. She was a 1938 graduate of Slater High School and lived in Marshall since 1982, moving from Milwaukee, WI. She was a homemaker and did a lot of volunteer work. She was a Presbyterian and attended Gill Memorial Baptist Church in Marshall.

Lois is survived by several cousins including, Peggy Igo Moore of Marshall and Iola Staub of Lee’s Summit, MO
