sedalia-200-school-district

As the calendar creeps toward August, the start of the 2022-23 school year moves ever closer.

A release from first-year Sedalia School District 200 Superintendent Dr. Todd Fraley says as the district prepares for the start of the school year, administrators ask patrons to help them best prepare for the return of students on August 30.

Online registration must be completed for all students as soon as families are able. Directions were e-mailed earlier this month, but patrons also can access that message at: <https://www.smore.com/e3pqx>.

Part of the online registration packet is the Federal Free and Reduced-Priced Meals eligibility form. Administrators are asking all district families to complete this form, even if they believe they will not qualify.

The data from these forms is used by the federal and state governments to establish district eligibility for various grants, title funding directly impacting student reading and math supports, and as a multiplier in the formula for receiving state funding. Completing this form will help the district to continue providing for the many needs and services its students require.
