Anna Mae Aversman, 87, of Higginsville, MO, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery in Waverly, MO. Memorials are suggested to Lafayette County Cancer Coalition. Born July 24, 1935, in Waverly, she was the daughter of the late Robert Snodgrass and Frances Ferguson Snodgrass. On October 11, 1953, in Waverly, she married Leslie F. Aversman who preceded her in death on May 18, 1989. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Hazel Hill Extension Club, both of Waverly. She loved quilting, reading, shopping, watching TV and her cats. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include two children, Judy Schnakenberg (Tim) of Blue Springs, MO and Robert Aversman (Donna) of Waverly; five grandchildren, Chris, Rachel, Josh, Jeff and Dan; nine great-grandchildren, Courtney, Zane, Corbin, Kylie, Taylor, Bentley, Dylan, Corey and Alivia; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anna Mae was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Hailey Michelle Aversman; two sisters; and two brothers.
