The Slater School District Board of Education took several actions during its meeting on Tuesday, February 28.

Superintendent Terry Lorenz said the board conducted evaluations on its elementary and high school principals during a closed session.

The board also approved the 2023-2024 school calendar. The board also reported the attendance numbers for the district. In the elementary school, enrollment is at 222 students with a 92 percent attendance rate. In the high school, 134 students are enrolled, with a 91 percent attendance rate.
