The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed amendments to the city’s Home Occupation License, Business Regulation License, and the regulations for mobile food vendors during its meeting on Monday, March 20.
The board voted and adopted the ordinance to replace Article I of Chapter 605 regulating business and licensing. The board also voted to adopt the regulations on mobile food vendors in city limits.
However, the board tabled a bill to replace Chapter 630 home occupation. City Administrator Dale Klussman says the board wanted to make a section of the chapter more clear.
The board will discuss that change in a future meeting.
In other news, the board approved a request from the Boy Scouts of America to hold an archery training course at the Boy Scout Cabin in Concordia. The class was scheduled for March 17, 18, and 19. The Boy Scouts had to rescheduled the class due to inclement weather, and requested permission to hold it on March 25. The board granted their request.
