New city officials were sworn in at a special Boonville City Council meeting on Tuesday, April, 11, 2023.

City Administrator Kate Fjell stated Brad Atkinson and Drew Davis were sworn in as council members and Susan Meadows was elected mayor pro tem.

In other news from the meeting, Fjell stated the council discussed amending the code of general ordinances to establish a procedure to disclose potential conflicts of interest and substantial interests for certain city officials.

The council approved amending the code.
