DNA testing proves human remains found in southwestern Wyoming in 1982 are those of a Sedalia man who went missing over 40 years ago.
Jack Clawson was on his way back to Missouri after visiting family in California when he went missing in July 1981.
Biological samples were sent to the University of Northern Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas for DNA analysis in 2011 and received a match to Clawson in March.
His remains were found near Granger, Wyoming and he is believed to have died due to exposure.
