A Warrensburg woman was moderately injured in a two-vehicle in Johnson County on Thursday, August 24.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by James Sulzen of Lone Jack, turned onto eastbound Highway 50 from Northwest 1971 Road and into the path of a vehicle driven by Marjorie Murrell. Murrell’s vehicle proceeded to strike Sulzen’s.

Murrell was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries. Sulzen was not injured.

The accident occurred at 5:45 p.m.
