
Mary E. Seymour, 73, of rural Marshall, MO, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Old Lamine Cemetery in rural Cooper County with William W. Harlow officiating. There is no visitation. Born December 24, 1950, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Charles “Hank” Mabrey and Bernice Fiene Mabrey. On May 21, 1968, she married Joe Dean Seymour who survives of the home. Mary worked at Con-Agra Foods in Marshall for 33 years and had served as a Union Steward for U.F.C.W. Local 2.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, Joe; she is survived by three children: Angela Luckett of Brookfield, Tanya McWhirter (Lance) of Slater and Shaun Seymour (Rachelle) of Independence; four grandchildren: Andrew Green, Peyton McWhirter, Preston Seymour and Landon Seymour; three siblings: Roger Mabrey of rural Marshall, Kay Mabrey of Sedalia and Mike Mabrey of Marshall; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles “Chuck” Mabrey and Ronald Mabrey.
