The Concordia Board of Aldermen approved a payment to SmiCo Services for CIPP work in the city limits.
SmiCo Services works with the city on sewer lining projects and plans to continue working on the city’s sewers in 2025 as well. This payment was for the work on the storm sewer north of the Concordia Bank drive through facility. The payment totaled $22,887.30.
In other news, City Administrator Dale Klussman updated the board on progress on the CDBG sidewalk project. Klussman said the project is almost complete, with just a few handrails to be installed and a final walk-through with the engineer and representatives from the Missouri Department of Transportation.
