A Ray County man pleaded guilty Monday, Apr. 13 to two of the four charges stemming from a September 2025 armed robbery reported at a Lexington pharmacy.

42-year-old Louis M Patti changed his plea to guilty on the charges that he robbed a pharmacy on Business Route 13 at gunpoint, stealing oxycodone and Oxycontin. He also admitted to being a felon in possession of a weapon, as he had pleaded guilty to robbery of another pharmacy in 2012. Charges of armed criminal action and possession of a controlled substance were dropped as part of the plea agreement.

Court documents accused Patti of walking into the pharmacy around noon on Sept. 11, 2025, drawing a pistol, and demanding the narcotics. Patti is said to have then jumped the counter and demanded employees open the cabinet containing the medications. Patti fled the scene but was apprehended by law enforcement outside Richmond.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for the afternoon of May 11 in a Saline County court room. The case was moved from Lafayette County in February on a change of venue request.
