The Marshall Lady Owls Soccer team secured the North Central Missouri Conference (NCMC) Title with two games to spare in the regular season.

Marshall captured the conference championship with a 6-1 victory over Hannibal on Thursday, May 7. The Lady Owls improved to 8-1 in the conference with the win, and 15-3 overall.

The team still has two more home conference games before the end of the regular season. Marshall will host Moberly on May 11, and Fulton on May 12. Tuesday’s contest will also be Senior Night for the Lady Owls.

The Lady Owls also know who they’ll face in the first round of the Class 3 District 5 tournament, which begins Saturday, May 16. Marshall is the third seed and will face sixth-seeded Camdenton (8-10) in the quarterfinals at 5:30 p.m. in Jefferson City. With a win, Marshall would advance to the semifinals on Tuesday, May 19.
