
The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled a number of pavement repair projects around the area this week.
In Saline County, Route 41 will have crews completing repairs Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12 between Marshall and Miami. Crews will then work on Route 41 from the split with Route 240 south the Cooper County line on Wednesday and Thursday. In Johnson County, crews will complete the work along Route 23 on Monday through Wednesday between Routes CC and E south of Concordia. Crews will then begin work south of Route E on Thursday. Pavement repairs are also scheduled south of Sedalia in Pettis County, on Monday along Route F, then Tuesday on Route U between 28th Street and Route V.
Pavement repairs also continue this week along Route 10 between Norborne and Hardin. Crews will work each day from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting. These work zones will allow one lane of traffic to pass through, with crews flagging motorists along.
Elsewhere, a number of culverts are scheduled for replacement in Chariton County. Route F will close Monday north of Indian Grove between Route M and German Road. The roadway will then close Tuesday between Bethel Road and Hickory Grove Road, Wednesday and Thursday from Joliet Road to Ordway Road, and then Friday from Lewis Clark Road south to U.S. Route 24. Also in Chariton County, pothole patching on Route Z west of Triplett will result in the road’s closure Monday and Tuesday. In Linn County, a concrete replacement project will result in lane closures along westbound U.S. Route 36 from Route 129 south of Bucklin to Route FF west of Brookfield.
