State Fair Community College will hold its spring commencement at 6 p.m. Friday, May 15 at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

The ceremony will honor students who completed graduation requirements in the fall and spring semesters. This semester, approximately 523 graduates will receive 676 degrees and certificates. Breakdown of degrees include 250 Associate of Arts degrees, five Associate of Fine Arts, 26 Associate of Arts in Teaching degrees, 194 Associate of Applied Science degrees, five Associate of Science degrees, one Associate of General Studies degrees, 117 Professional Certificates, and 78 Skills Certificates.

These figures include students who attend SFCC in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Jefferson City, Lake of the Ozarks, Whiteman Air Force Base, and online.

SFCC’s Adult Education and Literacy program will celebrate individuals who passed the 2025 High School Equivalency exam with a ceremony at 10 a.m. May 16 in Stauffacher Theatre on the SFCC Sedalia campus.
