Two Kingsville residents were left injured following a UTV accident reported at 5:15 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says accident occurred when a UTV operated by a 23-year-old Kingsville man began to skid and overturn while traveling on Northwest 1771st Road and Northwest 100th Road. The vehicle’s passenger, an 18-year-old Kingsville man, was pinned under the vehicle after it overturned.

Serious injuries were reported for the passenger, who was taken to Western Missouri Medical for treatment. Minor injuries were dealt to the driver.
