Residents along a pair of Moberly streets are waking up Wednesday morning to a boil advisory.

City crews repaired a water main break late Tuesday, May 18 on the 400 block of Longview, resulting in customers along that street and Maurwood Circle experiencing a loss of service or low water pressure. Residents on those two streets are advised to bring their water to a boil for three minutes and allow it to cool before consuming. The advisory is expected to last until Thursday evening, or when test results confirm water quality in the system. Anyone in the area with questions can call the Moberly Water Office at 660-263-4420.
