
The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct a series of seal-coat operations across Macon and surrounding counties beginning Friday, May 22.
Weather permitting, crews will close sections of state highways to complete the work. The work will begin Friday in Adair County along Route 149 from Route 6 south to Route 11. Crews will then proceed further south on the highway Tuesday, closing the section between Routes 11 and 156 in the morning, then from Route 156 to Route J in the afternoon. Crews will then work on sections of Route J beginning Wednesday, including all of Route JJ on Tuesday, then continue onto Routes EE and HH east of Elmer off Route 3 on June 1. The work is scheduled to conclude June 2 in Randolph County with seal coat operations in the morning along Route NN east of Renick, then on Route P in the afternoon between Routes 63 and NN.
