Two Johnson County residents reportedly escaped injury, while a Bates County man sustained minor injuries in a two-vessel crash on a lake in Benton County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as one westbound vessel reportedly rear-ended another. Drivers of the vessels were 57-year-old Robert Talley, of Holden, and 57-year-old Gerald Adkins, of Warsaw.
While each driver reportedly escaped injury, 63-year-old Gary Thompson, of Adrian, a passenger in Adkins’ vessel, reportedly was transported by Lincoln-Warsaw E.M.S. to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton for treatment.
The crash happened at about 2:40 p.m. at the 80 mile marker on the Osage Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.
