A 78-year-old Fenton resident drowned at a lake in Camden County on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ronald Miller reportedly fell off a stationary vessel being driven by 78-year-old Larry Schafer, of Lebanon. Despite reportedly wearing a safety device, Miller was unable to stay afloat and drowned.
The accident happened at 3 p.m. at the 30.8 mile marker of the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks.
