The Slater City Council is scheduled to discuss the 2018 Tax Rate during its meeting on Tuesday, August 21.
According to the agenda, the council also is scheduled to discuss tree trimming on the west side of town and a rural development grant.
There also is a closed, executive session on the agenda for the council to discuss real-estate, personnel and legal matters.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at city hall at 232 North Main Street.
