Saline County Treasurer Marty Smith delivered the sales-tax report for December during the meeting of the county commission on Tuesday, December 11.
Smith said the county received $103,942.59 in sales tax, which was up nearly $23,000 from last month but down more than $31,000 from the same period last year.

Smith continued with two more taxes received.

In 2018, the county received more than $281,000 for the law-enforcement sunset tax. In the first two months of the half-cent sales tax for economic development, the county has received nearly $80,000.
