A Blue Springs resident has been charged with multiple felonies after authorities allegedly found several drug-related items and a firearm in a vehicle after a traffic stop on I-70 in Cooper County on Tuesday, February 26.
A probable-cause statement says, during a probable-cause search by authorities, the driver- 41-year-old William Eugene Arni- was found to be in possession of a Beretta .380-caliber pistol; six pounds of marijuana; three pounds of edible marijuana products; seven 1000mg containers of THC oil; a digital scale; several unused Ziploc-style bags; and other drug-related items.
According to online court documents, Arni has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon; and three driving-related misdemeanors. Bond has been fixed at $20,000 cash or surety.
Arni’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
