As result of alleged findings resulting from the execution of a no-knock search warrant on Wednesday, January 8, a drug-related felony charge has been filed against a Sedalia resident.
According to a probable-cause statement, investigators from the Mid-Missouri Task Force and Sedalia Police officers say they found a couple of baggies containing methamphetamine and other drug-related items inside a residence.
Court documents say James Lamar Long Jr. has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety. The other resident of the home has not been charged at this time.
Long’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
