
A resident in Marshall reported a handgun was stolen from his residence in the 600 block of South Odell Avenue.
According to a police report, the man reported the gun stolen on Friday, July 31. The man told police he noticed his black Browning 1911 .22-caliber handgun was missing from his shelving unit. He noticed it was gone at about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30. The last time he said he saw the handgun was about 5:30 a.m. the same day. The victim said the gun had a loaded magazine that contained 10 rounds of ammunition.
The handgun was entered into the M.U.L.E.S./NCIC system as stolen.
The investigation is continuing.
