On Thursday, September 24, members of the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office and the Boonville Police Department executed a search warrant at an address on Porter Street in Boonville.

According to a release from Cooper County Sheriff Chris Class, during the investigation, narcotics, drug paraphernalia and numerous weapons allegedly were located. Two subjects were detained, and the Cooper County Prosecutor’s Office filed formal charges against them.

Morgan Weaver, age 30, of Boonville, is charged with three counts of a felony for unlawful possession of a firearm and felonies for possession of a controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance. Bond is fixed at $25,000 cash or surety.

Susan Weaver, age 33, of Fayette, is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

An initial hearing for each subject is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
