A Centerview teenager was seriously injured after jumping from a pickup truck on Sunday, September 17.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the male teenager, who was a passenger, jumped from the vehicle and impacted the ground while the pickup truck continued moving.

The teenager was transported by Life flight to Children’s Mercy Hospital with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 6:35 p.m. on South Warren Street in Warrensburg.
