Marilyn Joan Lee, 86, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of Marshall, died Saturday, May 23, 2026, at StoneBridge Villa Marie in Jefferson City.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.  Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born February 15, 1940, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Herman Gay McElfresh and Dorothy Irene Hicks McElfresh.  Joan was raised in Marshall and was a graduate of Marshall High School.  She married James Dudley Lee who preceded her in death.  She had lived in Sedalia most of her life and throughout her working career had worked as a bartender, daycare provider, and realtor.  Joan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall.

Survivors include two children, Sherri Bond (Kevin) of Sedalia and Jeffrey Lee (Jolie) of Oakhurst, CA; four grandchildren: Kellie Bond, Corey Bond (Courtney), Devin Lee and Dayton Lee; as well as other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Duane McElfresh.
