One more COVID-19-related death has been reported in Saline County, raising its total to 76 since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the Saline County Health Department’s Dashboard, the active COVID-19 case count has shrunk from 64 as of October 9 to 56 on Tuesday, October 12.

There have been 4,151 total positive cases- up from 4,134 at last report. There have been 3,409 confirmed and 742 probable cases since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 44 positives in the last week and 96 positives in the last two weeks.

The total positive case count includes: 815 persons in the zero to 20 age group; 682 in 20 to 29; 651 in 30 to 39; 550 in 40 to 49; 528 in 50 to 59; 449 in 60 to 69; 293 in 70 to 79; and 183 in 80-plus.

Katy Trail Community Health is offering free COVID-19 testing from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at its office at 1825 South Atchison Avenue in Marshall.
