
U.S. Highway 65 south of Carrollton is currently closed to allow for utility work following Friday nights severe storm.
The Carrollton Fire Department confirmed that several power lines and poles were knocked down due to the storm, closing the roadway for an extended period while utility work is being complete. The incident was first reported at 9:31 p.m. and remains closed at this time. Travelers are encouraged to avoid Highway 65 south of Bowdry until further notice.
