Wilbert H. Hilgedick, age 92, of Warrensburg and formerly of Higginsville, died Saturday, October 29, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, at Salem United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville.

Two people have been killed following a head-on collision on Interstate 70 in Boone County.
The Columbia Police Department says it happened around 4:45 a.m. at the 125.4 mile marker of I-70, where 28-year-old Vanessa Beatty, of Columbia, was reportedly driving westbound in the eastbound lanes. Her car struck head-on an SUV driven by 42-year-old James Carter, II, also of Columbia.
Both drivers suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Police reports say neither driver was wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash.
Investigation into the accident continues by Columbia Police.
A Lafayette County roadway that was closed for repairs this week has reopened ahead of schedule.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department says Highway 13 at the railroad overpass bridge in Higginsville was reopened to traffic on Friday night. The road was closed on Tuesday of this week and was originally scheduled to open again to traffic on Monday, October 31.
